You *shouldn't* encounter any problems but here are some issues I've seen or
heard about.
-SP1 can cause the machine to BSOD (if it was using a custom HAL);
-Desktop disappers due to low system resources while SP1 is installing
-Network connectivity issues occurr (you'll need to install a hotfix to
correct, as outlined in 898060 below).
Installing security update MS05-019 or Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1
may cause network connectivity between clients and servers to fail:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/898060
-Some applications don't work afterwards, see 896367 below
Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 application compatibility:
http://support.microsoft.com/Default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;896367&spid=3198
-Changes are made which can effect Certificate services.
It is important to read this document before you install SP1.
