Hi all,

We have been running SBS 2003 standard edition for almost a year. The backup
was running fine upuntil we had a disk crash. Since then we had restored
everything and set the Scheduled backup. We had discovered recently that
backup has failed at least for the last 10 days. Backup actually creates a
file and puts it on the external USB2 drive. It appears it just skips C drive.

Here is the error message on the backup and event log;

Eevnt log:

Event Type: Error
Event Source: NTbackup
Event Category: None
Event ID: 8001
Date: 10/11/2005
Time: 8:29:43 PM
User: N/A
Computer: TWD

Warning: Unable to open "C:\". Warnings or errors encountered.

Backup log:

Warning: Unable to open "C:\" -skipped
Reason: Yje system cannot find the file specified.

Even manual backup keeps coming back with the same error message.

Can anyone help?

Many Thanks
