Wildcard DNS configuration |
|
|
Hi, We're currently using wildcard dns configuration on our servers.
All requests to *.companyxyz.com are going to the same server running IIS on
port 80.
Is it possible to have a different wildcard configuration point to the same
server, but to a different virtual server also running on port 80 (or on a
different port, but while masking the port number)
In other words, could I have *.officexyz.com point to a different ISS
virtual server on the same server? |

Considering that the Virtual Server would be using a different IP address I
would say yes.
