I have a client who is running SBS 2003 with ISA 2004. We have IIS running a
FTP site for backup. One of the clients machines runs Linux on the public
side of the network. The problem is that the backup program that the Linux
box uses requires Active mode FTP connections. I have tired everything I can
think of on the SBS box to allow active mode ftp connections through the ISA
firewall, but I can not get it to work. Basically any time the Linux box
connects with FTP and sends the pasv command the connection just locks and
never comes back. I have tested the IIS config on my notebook's IIS with out
the ISA firewall and everything works great, so I believe that the problem is
in the ISA config. Please help!!!
