Our internal DNS is a windows 2003 server with two forwarders pointing to our
ISP's DNS. We seem to be having issues with MX lookups for a couple domains.
Directly queying the fowarders results in the correct MX reccords being
returned for these domain's, but when we query our internal DNS server we can
only get the A records for that particualar domain. MX query's to our local
DNS for other domains seem to work fine. I have cleared the cache on our
DNS, but I am a little stumped as to where to look next. This is resulting
in our mail server connecting to the wrong server for each of these domains
and bouncing mail. Any help would be appreciated.

How is your DNS server configured, on the NIC properties, make sure,
there is no ISP External DNS server IP addresses listed.
It should point to itself.

is it configured this way?
Cheers
