What's the deal with IMAP? |
|
|
I have a client who swears that IMAP is the next big thing and that everyone
will want it, so there gearing evevything towards IMAP. I have to be honest
the only time I've ever used IMAP is to setup a client with AOL via Outlook,
if AOL is using it then that can't be very promising.
I told them Exchange and SBS is the best solution and coming next year their
will be a wave of new phones that integrate perfectly with Exchange allowing
auto syncing of Calendar, Contacts, Email and Tasks.
What are your thoughts is IMAP the next thing or is just a technology that
will never be adopted?
Thanks, Brian. |

Guess you can say it's the next big thing over POP3....I think that has been
around longer than IMAP 1986 date. :-)
