Dear All,

when I try to add a printer Organisational Unit, system returns the
following error code:

"This printer cannot be published. To publish printers in Windows 2000
computers, use the Printer Folder"

I have another domain, but in this one the above operation runs succesfully.

Please, anyone of you could give me an idea?

Thanks

This was multi-posted to Win2000.active_directory group as well. If you can,
it would have been beneficial to cross-post it at the same time, so all
responses go to all groups simultaneously. Here's my response to your thread
in that newsgroup:

ON a Win 2000 or 2003 machine's printer properties, Share tab, as long as
the box is checked to publish the printer, it is added into AD. I am
assuming you already checked to make sure that checkbox is checked.

Are there any errors in the Event viewer on any of the DCs? Check the File
Replication, Directory Service, System and DNS logs. Please post the Event
IDs and the Source.
