Both error out. This is a LCS 2005 SP1 install on a clean forest, no
archiving. Everything seems to work ok, except for sending files and
appsharing. Using Communicator 1.0.559 on both ends. No firewall between
the users.

Appsharing gets:
Cannot establish the data sharing session with Username, either because
username canceled the session, or because you or the person you are calling
is behind a firewall or Network Address Translator (NAT)

Sending files gets:

Your message or invitation was not delivered, possibly because it contains a
hyperlink or other content that the system administrator has blocked.

Any ideas/thoughts?

Thanks,

S

You need to change a registry key on the client to get it wot work look at
the Communicator documentation here
,http://office.microsoft.com/en-gb/assistance/HA011992481033.aspx for all the
changes you can do.

I am having this exact same problem. Reg settings dont really make sense as I can can send files to 2 different users, but cannot send to 2 different others. But those users I cannot send to, can send to other people. There really is nothing uniform about this.

We are just testing LCS 2005 sp1 and communicator now, and only have about 8 users enabled, but it has been really inconsistent so far. All installs were done the same, without any tweaking.
