sorry for last post. i have 2 question about dvwp.

1. when i connect to sql server even in same computer the next button
doesnt work.for next records. am i missing anything??

these are my steps.
1 click data insert dataview.
select database connecion.
giving uname pwd table.
than click on insert dataview.
everything goes fine. but next doesnt work.

2 i want to filter dvwp from the form web part. also working fine.i
used dvwp form connection and filter according to modify view according
to input parameter.

but problem is i can not remove filter once its applied to the form
does anybody knows the solution??

can anyone help me?? i am really confused. i am doing this coding in
default.aspx of my sub areas.

its not in wss sites. can that be reason?? i am really confused here

Hi,
You need to include an indexed column in the records selected from the
table.

thanx Lan,
i tried similar thing like applying sorting at design. it works. but i
dont get how i can index column without doing sorting!! really dumb
here.

also i have one more question. i am able to filter my dvwp from form
web part. but problem is that how can i remove that filter??
means i need to have clear all function.that remove previous filter.

let me explain further
1.i am inserting form web part.
than me doing web part connection.
selecting modify view using input parameter form.

and than in dvwp i am selecting filter using parameter form.

so everything works fine. but how can i unfilter dvwp?? any idea?? or
for this condition i should use different concept rather than form web
part??
