Unmanaged Computers group fills by itself |
|
|
Good Morning. I hope someone can take a minute to help me with this one:
After creating the SNMP Trap Catcher rules, etc, I find that when a trap
comes into the MOM server, MOM takes the source IP and then creates an
"Unmanaged Computer" with the domain name listed as "SNMP" in the
Administration section of the MOM Admin Console.
Hmmm. Any idea why? Or perhaps how I can prevent this from happening?
Thanks for your time, folx!

Thank you for your reply, but I am not sure you understand my question.
How can I keep MOM from adding SNMP devices into the "Unmanaged Computers"
group?
