Hello,

I have to do the migration from WSS2003 to SPS2003 with following condition:

1) Under WSS2003, the url http://server was empty and this will be our
Intranet under SPS2003

2) Under WSS2003, we have a lot of sites that we can access with the url
http://server/site. I followed the instruction in this link
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/office/sps2003/deploy/inwsssps.mspx
talking about how to install SPS2003 when WSS2003 is already installed. They
mentionned to add a link, this is not interesting for us because we still
want to access with the same url http://server/site . So, my idea is to use
the backup tools STSADM.EXE. Can someone tell me if the following command
line is good: stsadm -o restore -url http://server/siteàrestaurer -filename
Or do I have to use the migration tool, the problem is that I'll loose all
the configuration (users right)

3) Actually to access via https we are using 2 sites one for the 80 port and
the other for 443. This in a single server installation.
I thing we only need on site configuring the port 80 and 443. Is that right?

Thank you for your help.

Gilles
