I'm stuck with the final part of the SPS Svr 2003 following the install of SQL Svr 2000. It's prompting me to choose which Database to use for SQL Server, the default database or a new one for SPS@db1 (or similar).

Which one do I choose?

Thanks,

Michael

Thanks again for the quick reply Brad.

I've pointed it to the SQL by manually typing it in at the bottom of the window. So I take it at the top of the same window you advise that I select the new database and the name it's given me? Sorry to sound stupid, I just want to get this right first time.

Point it to your SQL Server by manually typing in the name of it. Also it's nice to manually type the name of the config database too instead of it letting it create the default one.

Yes, I think. Just make sure you are pointing it to a valid SQL server instance and that it can connect to it. It will tell you right away if it can't connect so you should be pretty safe.
