Tricky Survey Question |
|
|
Im using sharepoint portal server 2003. Im having one particular
problem with surveys - let me outline it.
I have say, one question with 4 different choices of answers. users
can choose more than one answer. I want the survery to tell me how
many people choose each individual answer.
what happens though, is if a user chooses two of the 4 answers, when I
check the results there are now five categories (only in the results
section, not the main questions) - the four original ones plus a new
one, made up from the choice the user made.
EG My question is, say, how many of these letters do you like:
a
b
c
d
---
If the client chooses A and D, then when the results are checked they
would be as follows:
a
0 (0%)
b
0 (0%)
c
0 (0%)
d
0 (0%)
a, d
0 (100%)
-
How can I make the survey NOT create a new group, but instead give a
50% and d 50%? |

Apparently, once a visitor choose two or more choices in a single question,
then the new category is now scored as one choice. Not sure you can filter
out the individual choices because they really were not single answer on
their own, they were multiple choices combined into in one answer.
