Domain Function Level |
|
|
I have a single forest, single domain AD hierarcy. I have two 2003 DC's and
three 2000 member servers that host terminal services and are in application
mode. Is there any restrictions as to what functional level I can take the
domain and forest because of the terminal servers being 2000? In other words,
can I move the forest and domain to Windows 2003 Functional Level? Thanks! |

Someone may correct me but as far as I am aware the functional levels of your
domain only effect the type of DCs your domain can have ... member servers
and clients of differenct OS's can still join it
Thanks,

Functional level is only dependent upon your DC's o/s level not the members
of the domain. You can go to 2003 domain and forest functional level.
Remember though it is a one way street, there is no going back.
