we have Mom 2005 with sql 2000 with SP1 and working fine. we installed only
mom with out Reporting service. we like to install mom reporting service.

1. If we install in the same system mom repoting service is it ok? in this
case do we have to reinstall all the manamgment packs again?

2. if we install in seperate system, how could be?

Thanks
Gopi

Hello,

Thank you for your posting!

1. No Problem.
2. Install SQL Reporting Service on another machine and then install MOM
Reporting.

If you have any questions, please feel to let me know. I am glad to be of
assistance.

One note to consider is that you will need to reimport all of your
management packs and choose to import reports to get the reports into
MOM Reporting. You would run the Import/Export Management Pack Eizard
and choose to import reports only for each management pack that you
have installed.

There are full details on how to install MOM Reporting in Chapter 5 of
the Deployment Guide, which is available in the Product Documentation
section of the MOM website.
