Custom toolbar in Word template not working |

I have been given a Word template that uses a Macro that can convert the
Document contents to XML - as such the formatting Toolbar has been modified
for the XML needs of the Macro.
However, when I make this the "New document" template the formatting toolbar
is Words normal toolbar but has been greyed out. If I open the template
document from the 'Forms' folder directly, or if I click "edit template" in
the Modify
general settings area, the template opens fine - with the correct toolbar, so
it appears SharePoint is somehow preventing the modified toolbar from being
implemented when using the "New Document" button? Any idea why SharePoint is
stopping the custom toolbar from appearing correctly? |
