I am thinking of setting up a NLB cluster for the web-based frontend to a
SQL server backend.

Can I start my NLB cluster with just one node?
Is adding a node to the cluster difficult...does it involve any downtime?
Can I add any Windows 2003 server hardware to the cluster?
What happens if a node in the NLB cluster fails?

hi peter !

you can start your nlb with only one node, thats no problem and adding any
more nodes without downtime is possible too.

if a nlb cluster node fails, the remaining nodes will answer the request to
the nlb cluster.
