I have Microsoft Small Business Server 2000 currently installed on my server
which includes Exchange 2000, SQL server 2000 and ISA server 2000 but i didnt
install ISA Server 2000. I thourght that i didnt need it because i had a
hardware firewall and it would conflict.

Do i need it installed?

Can ISA server 2000 run behind a hardeware "watchguard" firewall?

What are the benefits of haveing ISA server installed?
How Easy is the ISA server to install and configure?

Many thanks

Brian

yes, you can install ISA as an after thought. and yes, you can install it
even though you have a Watchguard h/w firewall.

you might find the following article informative and enlightening, comparing
ISA to hardware firewalls:
http://www.isaserver.org/articles/2004tales.html

and here's an article comparing h/w vs s/w firewalls:
http://www.windowsecurity.com/articles/Comparing_Firewall_Features.html

you can then make up your own mind as to whether you should install ISA.
