Uninstall msh beta2 |

Had beta2 msh. Now I can't remove it as it wants Framework 2.0 Beta2
installed to remove it from Add Remove programs. And can't install 2.0 RTM
build until I remove beta2 build. Is there a way to force this to
uninstall?

First, install Framework 2.0 Beta2. Then uninstall MSH beta2. Then
uninstall Framework 2.0 Beta2. Then you should be good to go...

Will the framework 2.0 beta2 install mess up my framework 2.0 RTM install?
Should I also remove 2.0 RTM fx first?

I don't think you will be able to install Framework 2.0 Beta2 without first
uninstalling Framework 2.0 RTM. See

I had the same issue. I wanted to install Monad for 2.0 RTM, but it would
not let me because the earlier version was already installed.
This is what I did to resolve it:
1. Delete the Installation Folder (C:\Program Files\Microsoft Command Shell)
2. Search for "Microsoft Command Shell" using Regedit, and remove all keys
which belong to Monad.
3. Especially remove those under Installer\Products from HKLM and HKCU
4. I also did search for msh (match full text) and removed the monad related
ones, but this step may not be required.
5. Install Monad for 2.0 RTM. Since the installer will not find any previous
versions, it installs properly.
It took only 5 minutes.
