Hi,

I am having a WMI simulation program to raise the WMI event fro MOM.
But I am getting a critical error of Error communicating with the MOM
database on Operator Console. It was saying that the event can not be
inserted because the MOM database is full.

What should I do?

Thank you for your help,
Sunny

Sunny,

You need to check in Enterprise Manager and determine if the operational
database (Onepoint) is really full. If it is, you will have to increase the
size of the database, unless the database is 30 GB and you will then have to
groom data out of the database to make more room. Let me know if you have
more questions.

Hello,

Thank you for your posting!

Please check the OnePoint Database Size and Groom it.

If you have any questions, please feel to let me know. I am glad to be of
assistance.

Hi,

I checked the database size and it is 600 MB and space available is
570.67 MB. There is no reason for it not to add any more into the
database.

What was wrong?

Sunny,

Was the transaction log for the Onepoint database full? That might also
cause the error you are seeing.
