Hello all,

I've got a quick question regarding DNS/Scavenging and DHCP.
My DHCP server is configured to always update PTR an A record and to discard
A and PTr records when lease is deleted".
The lease is set for 8 hours.

The DNS server is AD integrated.

all the DNS A records owned by the DHCP server and most of the PTR records to.
I enabled Scavenging of stale records on the server and set up the
no-refresh to 8 hours and the Period to 12 hours.

Now some Clients are logging in their system log DNSAPI error that they
could not update their record , (they do no own it DHCP does),

This all started a day after I enabled scavenging on the Server.

Is there a way to make it go,

Thanks
