MSDTC refuses to start |

HI folks.
I am trying to implement a 2-node exchange cluster. Got the OS clustering
part done without a glitch. However, when I try to add MSDTC Resource, the
resource won't come online. I have created a separate Resource group for the
MSDTC. This group contains an IP, A network name and a storage resource.
They are all working fine, just that MSDTC fails to come online.
The Application Log is full of event like below:
Event ID:4389
Catergory: Cluster
Source:MSDTC Client
Description:
MS DTC setup failed to populate the shared cluster registry. The DTC
resource will not be able to come online.Error Specifics:
d:\nt\com\complus\dtc\shared\mtxclu\mtxclusetuphelper.cpp:120, CmdLine:
"C:\WINDOWS\cluster\resrcmon.exe" -e 884 -m 888 -p 2100, Pid: 3160
Also the System log show the following error:
Event ID:1082
Catergory:Checkpoint Mgr
Source: ClusSvc
Description:
Cluster service failed to restore a registry key for resource MSDTC when it
was brought online. This error code was 3. Some changes may be lost.
Need to solve this one. any ideas as to where I am going wrong here???

Did you follow 817064 before 301600? These Q's are very important.
