Are you working with portal, or with a Windows SharePoint Services (WSS)
site? What you described sounds like a WSS site.

If it is a portal site, please provide some more clarification as to where
are you in the site.

I think he's looking at Quick Launch in a site. (So he could be in a site in
SPS 2003 or in WSS).

You can add the additional "Documents 2" heading easily enough by just
amending the html on that default.aspx page (reference "Advanced SharePoint
Solutions" - apress - page 11) but I don't see how you can then persuade
your system to add the link to a document to under that "Documents 2"
heading rather than under the standard "Documents" heading.

Nitin, could you possibly just want to create an additional document library
and have it be listed under the "Documents" title?

If so, click Documents and Lists, then Create, then Document Library.
Follow the screens from there and be sure to select "Display this document
library on the Quick Launch bar".
