Hi Raj,

This is very hard to say which caused this error message. Some errors may
throw similar message. Could you be so kind to let me know what happened to
your sharepoint box recently? Any update? Any configuration or any related
operation on the box? Thanks!

Expect to your update!

The only change we did to this server in recent time is upgrading the hard
drives, other than that we didn't change anything.

Hi Raj,

Thanks for the checking! Now I have one troubleshooting plan for you:

Firstly, we could troubleshoot this issue by checking whether any IFilter
component is installed at your box, PDF IFilte, zip IFilter etc. They may
cause this kind of error.

2nd, please ensure your box has been applied the latest Sharepoint sp2. If
not, please apply it and see whether it remains.

3rd, I request to view the full error message. When we open one error
message at the event viewer, there are three buttons at the dialog
upper-right corner: up, down, copy. Please click the copy button to copy
the full description of this message and post it to me. Thanks a lot! The
full error message will contain the error code and other more information.

Look forward to your update!

Hi Wei-Dong XU,

I am sure the first one does not apply since I haven’t installed any IFilters.
Even I have not installed SharePoint service packs so far and I would be
applying very soon.

Please find the attached error message.

Hi Raj,

Thanks for the information! I think it is the best for you to apply the sp2
now. It may fix this issue.

Please tell me whether the error remains after that, thanks!

Hi

I've the same error on a W2K3 Enterprise Server with SPS 2003 since we upgraded the Sharepoint to SP2. The error appears daily at nearly the same time with the following description
