I added a web part called 'my calendar' to a sharepoint portal 2003 site, it
connects to a exchange 2003 calendar over OWA. Every time I open the page
it's on, sharepoint makes me login again. How to I stop this? Why doesn't
sharepoint just use my existing credentials?

thanks
John

Try the setting here but make sure you are making them for you OWA url.

My experience with this is that it doesn't because of the way Exchange is
configured. Ideally Exchange has FE and Back end server, well this
recommended configuration doesn't bode well for automatically logging you on
from SharePoint to OWA. You could write a single sign on web part to do this
for you, but out of the box, you probably won't be able to get the
functionality you are looking for unless an MS SharePoint specialist gives
some advice here.
