Hi everyone,

I want to create a Document Library, but when I do and click on the
Document Library it only has Documents. I have to go within Documents
and then create my subfolders. Is there anyway to bypass this so when
a user clicks on the Document Library it automatically goes to the
subfolders without requiring the user to click on a folder Documents
first?

We have many users who aren't that PC savvy, so as simple as this step
is it will confuse some users. Just trying to keep the mouse clicks
down to a minimum.

Thanks --

I'm not sure I understand your question. Are you saying that you don't see
your subfolders at all?

If you used Views instead of folders, you could give the user a link that
goes directly to that View.

(So a View where Category=IBM and the View is called IBM would have a link
to http://website/doclib/IBM.aspx rather than to
http://website/doclib/AllItems.aspx)
