If you're using Windows XP, go to Start > COntrol Panels > User Accounts.
Click on the "Advanced" tab. Click "Manage Passwords." Remove the entries for
your SPS server. Click Close, then OK, then close IE and re-open and navigate
to the SPS site. You should be able to re-authenticate with the new username
& password.
This is clumsy, but there appears to be some issue wherein SPS/IIS
authentication fails after a password change, but IE users aren't given an
opportunity to enter new credentials. We've been dealing with this for some
time, and this is the only workaround we've found.

Any idea?
Thanks
