Database configuration application: SQL Client not found |
|
|
When I try to select a database in the "Database configuration application"
after installation, I have the message "Client SQL introuvable" (in english
must be "SQL Client not found")
The title of the windows with the error message is "SQLSERVERNAME ne
satisfait pas à la configuration minimale requise pour SQL Server" (in
english must be "SQLSERVERNAME don't satisfy minimal required configuration
for SQL Server").
MCMS sp2 is installed on Windows 2003 Enterprise Edition (Domain Controller,
DNS) with SQL 2005.
I tried to use a database on this computer and on different computer with
SQL 2000 but each time I chose a database and click on Ok I have this "SQL
Client not found" message. |

Hi,
MCMS 2002 does not yet support SQL 2005. Only SQL 2000.
Cheers,
Stefan

Hi Quentin,
this specific dialog is part of the SQL DMO objects.
So you should post this question to an SQL server related newsgroup.
Cheers,
Stefan
