From within the MOM Administrator Console, if I disable a rule group, I see
that all the Rules (Event, Alert and Performance) listed below are still
enabled. Does that mean that I have to go into each one individually and
disable them so they don't run?

Or if the Rule Group is disabled, do the rules listed below become disabled
even though the display lists them as enabled?

If the rule group is disabled, none of the rules in it will be applied to
the Agents.
