Hi all,
I am currently trying to install your csegSearch
(http://www.ideseg.com/CategoryView,category,csegSearch.aspx) on my german
SharePoint Portal site.
I can install the cab-file via stsadm -addwppack -filename
csegSearchWebPart.CAB.
Then I enter http://servername/Search.aspx?Mode=Edit?PageView=Shared and to
edit the search-webparts on the page I enter the "Add Webparts"-Mode via
entering javascript:MSOTlPn_ShowToolPane('2'); in the URL-pane (I didn't
find the menu-link to enter the design mode using "Modify Shared Page" menu)
BUT: trying to drag&drop the csegSearch-Webpart onto the Middle Zone of the
page just gives me the error message (on the top part of the "Add
Webparts"-area)
"The Webpart could not be added to the webpart page. please contect
administrator...." (Freely translated from the german error message: Das
Webpart kann nicht zur Webpartseite hinzugefügt werden. Bitte wenden Sie
sich an den Administrator, um Hilfe zur Behebung des Problems zu erhalten.)
Can I install csegSearch on a german SPP-Installation? Or is it only
possible with an english installation? (What would I need to edit to install
csegSearch on a german SPP-site anyway??)
Any hints are highly appreciated!

Ok, try to add the webpart using FrontPage, there is no problem with german
sites that I know….
You are logged as Administrador account????

thx to carlos, I have solved this issue:
You need intall the webpart in the GAC, to fix your problem :
1.- remove the webpart using stsadm -o deletewppack
2.- add the webpart using
Stsadm -o addwppack -filename csegSearchWebPart.CAB -globallinstall
3.- make an iisreset
