Hi all,

I'm using SDAPI to deploy MCMS Site from the authoring to the production
server.

If the resource manager user changes the description of an existing Resource
(that has been deployed in the production server), will that resource be
re-transferred to the production server. Or SDAPI will update only the description?

It's important for me to know this, because if the entire resource will be
transferred, I'll have a big .sdo file... with the problems that we know.

Thank you so much,

Bye

Hi Stephano,

if the resource is bound to a posting then the posting and the resource will
be deployed.
If the resource is not bound to a posting it will not be deployed.

In addition: everything will be deployed! Not just the description.

Cheers,
Stefan
