MOM 2005 agent heartbeat over internet

We have a MOM server behind a firewall. Agents outside the firewall DO
connect to the MOM server, but they give no heartbeat.

Servers inside the firewall do give heartbeats.

port 1270 is opened on the firewall and forwarded.

What am'i doing wrong ?

Do you have TCP and UDP port 1270 open?
Is this MOM 2000 or 2005?
Are the Agents in the same domain as the MOM Server?
Are there any MOM errors in the Application Log on the Agent?
