Cannot receive offline message(s), Yahoo Messenger Problems |
|
|
Everyone sends offline messages to me but I can not receive any of
them.
I have 3 Yahoo IDs (Yahoo email address): ID1, ID2 and ID3
I do a test like this: I sign in with ID1 and send messages to ID2 and
ID3. Then I sign in with ID2 and send messages to ID1 and ID3. Then, so
on with ID3.
The problem is: when I sign in with ID2, I see no offline messages, I
cannot receive any offline messages from ID1 and ID3. But with ID1 and
ID3, I can receive offline messages from ID2.
I try to find help with messenger help but it is no help to this
problem. Reinstall Yahoo Messenger can not help. And the Serious
Problem that I can see is: Everyone sends offline messages to me (to my
ID2) but I can not receive any of them.
Can anyone help me out ???
Thanks you very much |

Well, this sounds like a Yahoo problem, so your best chance of help would
be to look there.
Something else you might want to consider is using a 3rd-party IM client
that would allow you to sign in with all three Yahoo accounts at the same
time. For example, Trillian or Gaim (open source -
http://gaim.sourceforge.net).

Thank Steve for your suggestion.
I did not mean I want to sign in with all Yahoo accounts at the same
time.
I signed in with each account one after another, I did signed out
before each time I signed in.
For example: I sign in with ID1, send messages to ID2 and ID3. Then I
sign out.
next step is: I sign in with ID2, send messages to ID1 and ID3. Then I
sign out.
and then: I sign in with ID3, send messages to ID1 and ID2. Then I sign
out.
there were no problem with ID1 and ID3, I could receive offline
messages from ID2, ID3 and from ID1, ID2, respectively.
But with ID2, I saw no offline messages (I did send messages to ID2
from ID1 and ID3 before)
It seems to be Yahoo network problem but I found no help on this
problem though I tried a lot, spent hours.
I do not think it is software problem because ID1 and ID3 work well,
receive offline messages properly.
I wonder if someone has broken into my account and did something that I
do not know. Is it possible ?
Is there Anyone there help me out ???
Thanks a lot and God bless you !!!

As suggested this probably has nothing to do with the focus of this
newgroups and you should definitely be contacting Yahoo
