SQL 2005 RTM install |
|
|
Hi All,
I had a CTP version of SQL 2005 client tools on my dev W2K2003 machine along
with CMS 2002 SP1.
All has been working okay and I recently received a RTM of SQL 2005.
I installed W2K3 SP1 and RTM SQL 2005 client tools, after removing the SQL
2005 CTP and also the j# .Net 2.0 Beta Redistributable package, and all seem
to install okay.
Unfortunately I now get an error when I got into Site Manager...
Error: 0
Description: Unable to load DLL 'vjsnativ': The specified module could not
be found. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007007E)
Severity: 5
Source: AEJavaProxy
Debug info: N/A
Extra info: N/A
Client Source: Login::ctlLogin_Click
Recommended Action: N/A
It seems like it can't find the j# install. I have re-installed j# .Net 1.1
package but to no avail.
I can't re-install the j# 2.0 beta as I it wont let me since I do not have
the beta /Net 2.0 installed.
Do I have to uninstall SQL 2005 RTM?
Any clues?
Dwight. |

Hi,
it seems that still some parts of .NET framework 2.0 are on your box.
Please reinstall the J# redistributable for 2.0
Cheers,
Stefan
