We are currently setting up 2 machines in a Terminal Services farm and would
like to use session directory. We have successfully setup up NLB using the
NLB manager ( for some reason slow to connect to cluster but eventually
does). Connecting to the virtual ip address alternates the connection to the
2 NLB Terminal Servers.

The problem is following the Session directory setup everything is fine
until setting up the second Terminal Server. We get an error message that
"The server you specified is not accepting the computer's request to join the
session directory. Verify that the session directory service is running on
that server and that your computer is a member of the Session Directory
Computers security group..."

We have already added the two computers into each other's local Session
directory Computers security group.

Any ideas or a good how to configure/implement article on this?

Thanks in advance

Hi.

I actually put together a few articles on this a few weeks ago.

Understanding the Terminal Server Session Directory

and

How to Configure Windows Network Load Balancing for pure Terminal Server
environments

Hope these help!
