benefits of connecting 2 sharepoint servers to same configur |

We want to have multiple web servers serving Sharepoint sites, but don't plan
on doing load balancing or clustering.
Is there any benefit to connecting both servers to the same configuration
database? It seems like it might make things simpler if I want to
programmatically adminster or query all the sharepoint sites/servers - but I
can't find any reference that says I should use 1 config. db unless i'm doing
load balancing.
Any suggestions welcome. |
