Eventviewer reporting numerous error messages:

Event Source: McAfee PortalShield
Event Category: None
Event ID: 2045
Date: 11/3/2005
Time: 4:56:18 AM
User: N/A
Computer: *******
Description:
The On-Demand scanner failed to scan the item 'quicklaunch.gif' with error
8004022d.


'quicklaunch.gif' - this is an example of a file, there are hundreds of
error messages (about 1 every second) with various extensions (doc, htm, gif,
etc etc).

Anyone came across this problem??

Gang, wanted to follow up with you and include a fix that I was able to find:

In IIS password for "MSSharePointPortalAppPool" application pool identity
was not matching up the actual NT account (spsadmin) password, which kept
locking that NT account up and resulting in thousands of these errors while
scan was running.

Resetting the password on the NT account and running a repair on the
PortalShield with reset password solved the problem.
