I have a windows 2003 server running Active Directory. Active Directory
installed correctly and my users are able to login and use resources.
However when I try to add an additional DC it states that it can't find the
Domain.

I assume this error has something to do with DNS, becuase now of the SRV
records are created on the DC which also runs DNS.

Is there a manual way to create the SRV records for a domain in DNS? Are
what is the best practice to create these entries?

In DNS the following thing that shows is the domain name and the PTR and A
records, CName, MX, etc.

Any help is appreciated.

This is usually due to the fact that the DNS server the computer is pointed
to does not hold the SRV records for the domain.

Point the DNS server to itself in the properties of TCP/IP and reboot. They
get registered during logon.
