Is there documentation available listing event ID changes as a result of an
operating system upgrade or a service pack installation, and where can I
locate it?

We use dynamic monitoring of server event logs to alert our server management
team when issues arise. When Windows 2000 servers were upgraded to Windows
Server 2003, event ID 5778 was no longer generated. We found that similar
information could be found in the new OS from event ID 5807. This has left us
concerned that our monitoring system may not be effective after the upgrade.

Hello,

After reading your post, I believe that this issue is related to AD. Please
post it in the microsoft.public.windows.server.active_directory newsgroup
since they are the experts in AD and will provide the most accurate
information on this issue.
