Microsoft and RIM are both working on mobile clients that can connect
Windows Mobile and Blackberry users with their corporate LCS server.
Microsoft announced theirs back in April. I would not be surprised if
additional information is released from either vendor within the next few
months. Granted, a lot of RIM's money is getting sucked away by things not
related to research. I digress...If I remember the articles, each company
was supposed to release a client prior to year-end.

There are a few companies that provide software for BlackBerry handhelds. I
have seen it on one handheld, but I am not sure who the provider was.

Thanks again. Glad to hear that third parties are already developing the
support. Would be nice to see what Microsoft or RIM come up with.

I just hope that RIM gets something out before all the lawyers siphon off
their R&D cash. The nice thing is that there is a Federal law that protects
RIM and allows it to operate to continue and support governments. Granted,
I can't count the amount of BlackBerry devices on the Metro...particularly
those newfangled Treo 650s. I am holding out until the Treo 700 comes
out...Exchange SP2 and all...
