Pending status after file move |
|
|
Is there any way when you do a mass move within sharepoint of a folder to
avoid all the attached documents from moving back to a pending status?

I don't think so. Can you just turn approval off temporarily while you do
the mass move?

Actually, when I tested the problem, I didn't encouter an issue. If the
state was Pending, it was Pending after the move (using Explorer view). If
the state was Approved, it was Approved after the move (again, using Explorer
view). What am I missing?

Not if the other guy really has a problem and I can't duplicate it. The good
news is that since I told him how I got it to work, I haven't heard back from
him. :)
