Can anyone shed light on these alerts? |

I have 8 servers sending these alerts...
I looked at the script, but I didn't see anything unusual.

Hi,
Can you find out what response was the rule trying to run? Also can you
check the relevant event in the events tab? You might also find some
information in the history tab of the Alert Details. Maybe these information
can help us to determine your problem more precisely. And I assume you have
tried all the steps or items mentioned in the KB for that particular alert.
Was this problem a one timer or is it still occurring?
Good luck.

Just a shot in the dark, but are you running McAfee Enterprise 8.0i AV
software? The scriptproxy.dll that McAfee loads is known to conflict with
the MOM scripts and these types of errors often show up as a result. The
following KB articles have details:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;891604

Thanks all for the suggestions.
The rule name is "MOM Agent Service Discovery".
It is a continuing problem. Thousands of errors.
We are running Mcafee 7.1, so, that's not it. |
