Hi,
From your description, I think it is related to the Mail Server Software.
If you are using Exchange, I'd like to suggest you post your issue at:
Microsoft.public.exchange2000.general or
Microsoft.public.exchange.admin
for assistance. Which I think are more approprate.

We have parellel child domains containing users and computers, and need
to migrate users across both domains without losing mailbox which sits
in a third parellel domain. ADMT is currently in place but will be
removed after migration from NT4 is complete.
How do I move users from Domain A to Domain B or vice versa without
haveing to Exmerge the mailbox.
