This is the situation.Recently we implement IAS server and Certificate
Authorities.We want to implement 802.1x Autentication on our network.We have
a Cisco switches that will be Radius clients and provide authentication for
domain machine.On our test machine everything seems to be ok butt there is a
problem with group policy processing.On startup there are these errors:

Usereinit event ID 1000
Could not execute the following script copy_oracle_inits.bat. The system
cannot find the file specified.



Userenv event ID 1054

Windows cannot obtain the domain controller name for your computer network.
(The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted. ).
Group Policy processing aborted.



Userenv Event ID 1030

Windows cannot query for the list of Group Policy objects. A message that
describes the reason for this was previously logged by the policy engine.



Server Event ID 2054



The server could not bind to the transport
\Device\NetBT_Tcpip_{9EC3FAE3-C34A-4E71-AA48-E32913D2368C}.



How to solve this?

Obviously, a network connectivityproblem exists. Go to http://eventid.net
and search for the event ID #1054 from Userenv - there are some suggestions
as for what to look at and how to enable Userenv debugging etc

I think that there is a problem with group policy.Machine doesn't process
group policy before DHCP lease.How to force XP to wait to get DHCP lease
first and then to process group policy?

A similar problem is explained in the KB link. I would also run the support
tool netdiag on that computer to see if anything is found as an ongoing
problem with configuration or just at startup. --- Steve
