Matt, I am having the same exact problem, if you ever find a fix for this

i have got some code froom around the place that goes into the web config
system.net
defaultProxy
<proxy proxyaddress="proxy.srv:80" bypassonlocal = "true"/
/defaultProxy></system.net
but this does not allow me to put in username and password.
