DNSUpdateProxy, Dedicated User question |
|
|
I am studying for the 70-291 exam. I am having trouble finding an answer to
what i though would be pretty obvious.
All I wanted to know is when a dedicated user is set up for DHCP servers to
use as it's credentials to add dynamic updates to a DNS server when 'secure
updates only' is configured, will the owner be set as that dedicated user,
therefore creating that original problem of the user not being able to update
it's own DNS records? Also, does the dedicated user need to have some group
membership to allow it to be used to register secure dynamic updates?
Very much appreciate everyones time. If there is a more suitable place to
post these kind of questions please let me know.
Cheers.
