New unpublished posting not prompting to login

Whenever we try to access a posting that is not yet published the MCMS system
prompts to login and opens the posting in edit mode. But sporadically the
system displays an error page saying "Page not found" instead of redirecting
to the login page.

Does anyone if the system should prompt to login when trying to access a
non-published posting?

Ex:

are the permissions both template galleries same?

Both postings use the same template and so they should have the same
permissions.

actually both postings do NOT use the same template.
Please check the path:
