Messenger5.1 and Nt accounts |
|
|
Hi Champs,
Running LCS2005. Is there a way in messenger5.1, to add a whole NT securety
group to my contacts?
I mean, when a new user installs messenger, he can easely add all his
workgroup buddys, just by adding the active Directory securety group or the
OU.
Is that by any chance possible in messenger5.1 or in Communicator?
/Many thanks |

How can I add them on behalf of other users?
I have a group of people that I want to start using communicator or
messenger, and I am looking for some way of auto-adding their buddies to the
contact, right from the start.
I am SMS'int a package to them and I want all in that specific NT securety
group, to be in the contact list right from the start.
Can I add them on their behalf?
/Many thanks

create groups yourself or even add them on behalf of users, but you can't
leverage NT security groups or distribution list groups today. This is
definitely being worked towards for future versions of the client.
