Hi LMI,
Thank you for posting in SBS newsgroup.
You can fax to multiple recipients as following:
1. Click All Programs | Accessories | Communications | Fax | Send a fax.
2. Click Next on the wizard.
3. Input the fax recipient name and number and then click Add.
4. Add each recipient information and then click Next.
5. Follow the wizard to finish it.
Hope it helps and I look forward to hearing from you.
Best regards,

Hi LMI,
Thanks for your reply.
Would you please let me know the OS of your user? If he is using SBS or the
client computer has joined SBS domain, he should be able to use the shared
fax function of SBS.
You can open Server Management \ Standard Management \Fax (Local) node and
click "Configure Fax services" to configure the fax on the SBS server and
you can also manage the fax job on the console.
If he is using windows 2000 or windows XP, please refer to the following KB

We are all using Os: XP pro
I have a couple of questions:
1) How can i monitor to see if these faxes are being sent over or jsut
coming back?
In other words track the fax?
2)How can i attach or just send a word document over the fax wizard? I only
saw
that it sent out a cover page and nothing more.
3) What is the best way to import all my fax number i have 4880 number to
fax to. It kind of a massive sale blitz during the thanksgivinglong weekend.
Does SBS fax have a maximum amount of faxes per session?

Hi LMI,
Thanks for your reply.
Would you please help me confirm if you do have SBS 2003 server and all the
client computers send faxes to the SBS server?
Generally speaking, on the client workstations, we can use the Fax Console
to monitor and control the FAX jobs. If you are using Windows XP, the FAX
console is integrated in the OS. You may click ''Start''->''All
Programs''->''Accessories''->''Communications''->''Fax''->''Fax Console''
to open the application. If the SBS shared FAX device has already been
connected, you will be able to use the console to check monitor the jobs.
- To send a fax in Word, perform the following steps:
1. Open Word, compose the fax.
2. On the File menu, click Print.
3. Select the "Fax on <SBS server>" printer, and then in the Print dialog
box, click OK. The Send Fax Wizard appears.
4. On the Welcome page, click Next.
5. On the Recipient Information page, click Address Book (if an e-mail
client is installed).
6. Select a recipient and click OK.
7. To send a fax to more than one recipient, repeat Steps 5 and 6.
8. Click Next, and then follow the on-screen instructions to add a cover
page and send the fax.

Hi LMI,
Thanks for your reply.
As I know, there should no such limitation about fax number. However we do
not recommend you to do so, because the number of recipients is too large,
it may cause the system hang. You'd better to send the fax every hundreds
number.
Thanks for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi LMI,
Thanks for your reply.
If the system does hang, you may need to hardware boot up the system. I
think it may cause some inconvenience and damage for the server. So it is
better that you send the fax manually group in a hundreds.
You can configure retry as following:
1. Open Server Management and then expand Standard Management.
2. Right click Fax and select Properties.
3. On Outbox tab, configure Retry after on Fax transmissions column.
Thanks for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.

I noticed that when i sent a test fax my fax machne also prints it out on my
side? Why is this? I setup a fax to send at 9pm last night and when i got
back into my office i saw a copy of that fax from my machine. Is there a way
to stop this? Is there a way of stopping this.

Hi LMI,
I am sorry for the delayed response and thanks for your patient on the
issue. To narrow down the problem, would you please help me collect the
following information?
1. What fax machine are you using? What modem?
2. Are you using Shared Fax?
Thanks for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.
Best regards,
