Note: You must have permission to the database LcsLog. This database may
contain confidental information and should be treated with kid gloves. If
it is exported to a text file, this text file should be tightly controlled.
If it is exported to an Excel spreadsheet, it would be best to password
protect it with a strong password.

Drill down to the database LcsLog

Right-Click and select All Tasks - Export Data.

The DTS Import/Export Wizard window will appear.

Click Next

A screen will come up with the data source, authentication, and Database

Click Next

A screen will come up with the destination source.

Change the source to Microsoft Excel 97-2000 and provide a file name

Ex. (C:\Temp\Something.xls)

At this point you can copy the tables and views from the database or use a
query.

For this example we will export all the tables and views.

Note - If you have a lot of data in your LCSLog, Excel will truncate it at
65,535 lines.

Regards,

Bob
